A little story about the Never, the end EP
Leaving a place or more accurately a community you still love seems counter-intuitive. Yet, stagnancy is death, and protecting things as they are (preventing change) embalms life (which is animated).
In Never, the end we consider what it means to arrive in your life (even if that means failing). Ask yourself what’s important and bury yourself in it. What do you want your life to look like today? Start trying it.
This means giving up attachments. We don’t mean something vital, like your arm, or your partner. But maybe your idea of where you are, how you use your limited time, and how your ultimate deadline frees this movement. Maybe it’s asking, in a way, have you arrived, and are you still traveling?

Sticker FAQ
Q: Is that what I think it is in the heart’s mouth?
A: No.
Q: What is it then?
A: A cute pig.
Q: Why is there a cute pig in the heart’s mouth?
A: Originally Eleni Binge designed this image when Beloved Binge formed in 2004 as a comment upon societal binges, particularly eating animals, attempting to connect the animal with the end product by showing an actual pig rather than a bacon mochachino. The image has come to represent all types of binges — whether it be Eleni Binge’s endless vegan cupcake testing, our obsession with social media, or the need for new and more.
Q: Oh.

Behind Pockets
Excerpt from Shuffle Magazine:
The short story of our most recent album is “Pockets is where you go when a part of you has left.” About half of the songs were inspired by something new to me — the unexpected death of a parent. While we were on an extended leg of our ~one-year tour we got the call about my Dad. Though each of us ends in death, experiencing an actual disappearing act is surreal and hard to grasp. Particularly when you do not have the chance to say goodbye, and your parent is buried before you can see them. It can be the little things—like it’s odd not to get a call on my birthday, or be able to share ideas only Dad would get — but fundamentally, if you lose a parent you were close with, that’s irreplaceable. No one can quite love you the same, unconditionally.
This album says goodbye, but it also is engaging in a dialogue with you — it hopes to be there for your loss and/or celebration of being around (life) when things are good. The title track, “Pockets,” actually was written in a sudden inspiration right before we went into the studio. Sometimes things happen like that, last minute, but end up being the theme.
