A few years ago, I noticed we had a fan in Lake Shawneeāhome, as I soon discovered, to an abandoned amusement park. The lyrics came later, when I realized the creative life can feel like an abandoned amusement park, with a never-ending carousel of rides. The chorus was inspired by a friend (who shall go unnamed š) who asked me if I had a diagnosis. Such. A. Great. Question! #notyet
